The Bachelor of clinical laboratory science program (continuing education)
The Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory Science Program (Continuing Education) at the faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University is designed for experienced certificated MT/MLT/CLS professionals who are interested in continuing their bachelor degree education. This program dedicates to develop and introduces high quality education focused on essential and advanced knowledge, intensive practices for MT/MLT/CLS profession, as well as needed skills such as clinical laboratory administration and quality management, advanced technology in laboratory diagnosis, research methodology, biostatistics, and biomedical informatics. Through B.CLS program, students will gain knowledge, hands-on practicum experiences and participate in the clinical laboratories with international standard in all aspects of clinical laboratory science and health care practice in community while developing a set of clearly identified administration, management and research competencies that defines proactive role, professional excellence in MT/MLT/CLS, effective performance assume leadership role as well as for continuing in higher education.

Graduation requirements
Complete all courses required according to curriculum structure (6 modules) for altogether not less than 90 credits with the cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.00

After completing B.CLS Requirements, students will gain competencies as following
1. Capable of applying theoretical knowledge and laboratory testing to recognize and solve problems. As well as recognize the importance of proper test selection, correlate abnormal laboratory data with pathologic states, determine validity of test results; the causes of discrepancy results as well as the technical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects.
2. Capable of performing professional services with quality for taking care of individual and population health.
3. Capable of collecting and projecting health information for improving the healthcare management system.
4. Capable of performing research procedure, utilize and evaluate computer-generated data, biomedical statistic/informatics analysis for decision making, carry out research and creating innovation.
5. Capable of mastering novel and appropriate technology for health science application
6. Capable of integrating Clinical Laboratory science profession for serving proactive roles as health promoter/health promoter team.
7. Capable of performing effective administration and management for clinical laboratory in both government and private sectors.
